MEKNES TO FES

The starting point will be from Dar Meknes Tresor at 9:00 after breakfast, you will head towards another imperial city which is Fes city for an enjoyable guided visit. The drive from Meknes to Fes is about an hour or so, including some stops along the way to enjoy the natural relaxing sights. Upon your arrival to Fes city, you will explore the Old Medina and its fascinating monuments, You will travel through the narrow streets lined with piles of spices, handmade goods such as carpets, shoes, leather bags, pottery... which give a pleasant colourful sight. Next, you will visit the well knownQuaraouiyine Mosque founded in 859 by Fatima el Fihri the entry is not permitted to non-Muslims, afterwards, you will explore Fountains including the Nejjarine fountain, Medersas (Koranic schools), Chouwara Tannery, Souks including Souk Attarine. Then you will have time for lunch in one of the local Restaurants to relax and get ready to continue your tour. In the afternoon, you will explore the blue gate with its green and blue tiles, then Mellah and the 17th century IbnDanan synagogue. As an end of the tour you will visit the king palace to take memorable pictures, then you will head back to dar Meknes Tresor.
